In a strategic move to protect its domestic adhesive industry, India has enforced an anti-dumping duty of up to USD 557 per tonne on Epichlorohydrin imports from China, Korea, and Thailand.
This new regulation, effective for five years, aims to shield Indian producers from the adverse effects of underpriced imports, following directives from the commerce ministry's Directorate General of Trade Remedies.
