Pernod Ricard has emerged as the top spirit maker in India, outpacing United Spirits with a fiscal year 2024 revenue of Rs 26,773.22 crore, as detailed in regulatory filings. United Spirits, previously the leader, reported a downturn to Rs 26,018 crore.
Pernod Ricard India Pvt Ltd achieved a 6.9% rise in operational revenue, reaching a profit increase of 20.9% to Rs 1,620.58 crore, based on data from the Registrar of Companies, accessed via Tofler.
Long-term growth appears promising, with Pernod Ricard investing 200 million euros to establish its largest Asian distillery in Nagpur, a strategic move to enhance exports, particularly Longitude 77, the company's Indian single malt whiskey.
