JetBlue Airways has announced the extension of its flight suspension to and from Haiti until December 2. This decision follows a series of unsettling incidents involving gunfire and aircraft.
On Monday, a Spirit Airlines flight en route to Port-au-Prince was forced to divert to the Dominican Republic after sustaining gunfire. In response, JetBlue, along with American Airlines, initially canceled flights through Thursday.
Later on Monday, JetBlue's Flight 935 arrived in New York without any reported issues, but a post-flight inspection revealed bullet damage on the plane's exterior, prompting the extended halt in operations.
