Flipkart Accelerates EV Integration in Delivery Fleet for Sustainable Logistics
E-commerce giant Flipkart has integrated over 10,000 electric vehicles into its delivery fleet, enhancing operational efficiency and promoting sustainability. Focused on achieving a fully electric logistics fleet by 2030, the company is investing in charging infrastructure, partnering with Adani Group for dedicated charging sites.

Flipkart, a major player in e-commerce, has announced the deployment of over 10,000 electric vehicles (EVs) within its delivery fleet. This strategic move is part of a phased integration that aims to improve last-mile delivery efficiency and lower operational costs.
The initiative represents a significant milestone in Flipkart's commitment to sustainability, aligning with the Climate Group's EV100 initiative to adopt a fully electric logistics fleet by 2030. Currently, 75% of Flipkart's electric fleet serves tier-I cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
In a further push towards sustainable logistics, Flipkart is increasing investments in charging infrastructure. The company has partnered with the Adani Group to set up 38 charging sites with 190 chargers in key tier-2 cities, signaling a commitment to wider EV adoption and setting sustainability benchmarks in the industry.
