India's ambitious goal of reaching a $2 trillion export target by 2030 was underscored by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal during his address at IIFT's annual convocation.
Goyal, via video conference, called for collective effort and highlighted the need for a strategic approach, given this fiscal year's expected $800 billion in exports.
The minister stressed that achieving this target requires choice and concerted action, encouraging IIFT to tackle non-tariff barriers. Meanwhile, IIFT is expanding its global footprint with a new campus in Dubai, aiming to enhance its academic offerings in crucial areas like FTA negotiations.
