In a tragic incident, three individuals lost their lives and three were seriously injured in a collision between two vehicles in Bastar district, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday. The accident involved a mini goods vehicle transporting agricultural workers, which overturned after the collision.
The mishap occurred late in the evening between Kinjoli and Rajnagar villages, as confirmed by local police officials. This location is approximately 30 kilometers from Jagdalpur, the district's headquarters. The victims hailed from Odisha and were employed on a farm in the nearby Bakawand area.
As the investigation continues, initial reports suggest the vehicle was heading to Odisha with around a dozen passengers when the accident happened. Three individuals died instantly at the scene, while the severely injured were taken to a hospital in Jagdalpur for treatment.
