Maruti Suzuki India set a new benchmark in October with its highest monthly sales ever, recording a total volume of 206,434 units. The impressive figures include domestic sales of 163,130 units, sales to other OEMs of 10,136 units, and unprecedented monthly exports of 33,168 units. The surge in sales is attributed to the festival season and substantial discounts offered by automakers, enabling dealers to boost car sales.

The October sales reflect a 3.6% increase year-on-year when considering both domestic and export figures combined. From April to October in the 2024-25 fiscal, total sales climbed by 1.64%. Exports alone rose by 51% year-over-year in October, and by 17% for the April-October period. In the fiscal year 2023-24, Maruti Suzuki exported over 280,000 units to more than 100 countries, securing a 42% share of India's passenger vehicle exports.

In addition to sales milestones, Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant achieved the remarkable feat of crossing the 1 crore cumulative production mark in just 18 years, a record for Suzuki's global facilities. Operational since October 2006, the 600-acre plant produces various models for domestic and international markets, exporting to Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. By reaching this milestone, Maruti Suzuki reinforced its leadership in the Indian automotive sector. Furthermore, the company initiated exports of its 'Made-in-India' SUV, the Fronx.
