In a strategic move to elevate tourism and invigorate economic growth, the Delhi government has officially sanctioned 24-hour operations for restaurants in Aerocity.
This decision transforms Aerocity's hospitality offerings, allowing restaurants to join existing 4-star and higher-rated hotels in providing round-the-clock service. Chief Minister Atishi's approval underscores a broader strategy to draw tourists and bolster state revenue through increased licensing fees.
The approach mimics a successful model in Gurugram, Haryana, where similar measures resulted in considerable revenue hikes from extended operational hours. The verdict follows a recent milestone, with over 700 Delhi shops and establishments now granted permission for continuous uptime.
