Tragedy Strikes as Road Accidents Claim Two Lives, Injure 30 in J&K

Tragedy struck in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday as separate road accidents resulted in two fatalities and left 30 others injured, primarily affecting nursing college students. In Kishtwar district, Bilal Ahmad and Ishrat Hussain lost their lives when a truck struck them at Drabshalla.
The truck driver abandoned the vehicle, and police have launched an investigation to apprehend him. Meanwhile, another accident in Udhampur district saw a mini-bus carrying mostly students falling into a ditch, resulting in multiple injuries.
The injured were swiftly transferred to Government Medical College Hospital in Udhampur, with three reported as serious cases. Udhampur Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai ensured prompt action and promised a thorough investigation into the cause of the incident, believed to be a brake failure.
