Messe Muenchen India's 11th edition of IFAT India, acknowledged as the premier trade fair for water, sewage, and recycling, closed successfully on October 29, with an impressive attendance that underscores India's environmental urgency.
Hosted at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from October 16-18, 2024, the event welcomed over 17,184 visitors, marking a notable 15% increase in international exhibitors, thereby reinforcing its prominent role as a forum for environmental solutions. Attendees, including experts, policymakers, and innovators, engaged in critical discussions on urban challenges such as water demand and waste management.
Esteemed government figures, including Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani, graced the inauguration. Key product launches, such as Veolia's ZW1500 XT membrane and Fornnax's SR-MAX2500 shredder, showcased promising advancements. IFAT India featured special zones dedicated to sustainable innovations and included a successful conference day that attracted over 250 industry participants.
