New Flight Route Boosts Pilgrimage to Somnath Temple
A new direct flight route from Ahmedabad to Keshod, aimed at offering better access for pilgrims to the Somnath Temple, was announced. Managed by Shree Somnath Trust, the service includes a complimentary pickup bus for devotees. The flights will run thrice weekly, facilitating easier travel.

A new direct flight service has been introduced between Ahmedabad and Keshod, facilitating travel for pilgrims visiting the esteemed Somnath Temple in Gujarat, officials announced on Tuesday.
The Shree Somnath Trust, responsible for the temple's management, has additionally launched a complimentary bus service from Keshod airport to the temple, enhancing access for devotees, the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board confirmed in a recent statement.
The flight route, supervised by the Trust chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, covering the nearly 400 km distance from Ahmedabad with considerable ease for travelers.
