Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ), a key entity within the Adani Group, has recorded a substantial profit surge, with its net profits soaring 42% year-on-year to Rs 5,520 crore for the first half of the 2024-25 fiscal year. The recent July-September quarter alone saw a 37% rise, marking profits of Rs 2,413 crore.

During this period, APSEZ witnessed a rise in revenue, with a 13% increase in the first half and a 6% rise in the second quarter, accumulating Rs 14,627 crore and Rs 7,067 crore respectively. The company's strategic acquisitions of Gopalpur Port and Astro Offshore, combined with new port concession deals, are driving factors in its continued success.

Operational achievements include Mundra Port's milestone, which hit over 100 MMT in a record 181 days, and the docking of the largest cargo ship at Vizhinjam port. CEO Ashwani Gupta expressed optimism in reaching the upper end of EBITDA guidance, citing robust growth in both port operations and logistics.
