The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), under India's Ministry of Ayush, introduced 'Pragati-2024' in May to create a cooperative research platform for Ayurveda. The initiative seeks to bolster innovation and growth within the Ayurvedic industry, reflecting a significant governmental focus on traditional medicinal practices.
Dr. Ravishankar Polisetty, a former cardiac surgeon, leads Poly Scientific Ayurveda (PSA), which fuses technology with Ayurveda to provide effective health solutions. He emphasizes preventive care through lifestyle changes and natural therapies, enhanced by AI and Machine Learning, for personalized and comprehensive patient treatments.
A standout innovation by Dr. Polisetty is the Docture-Poly™, a wearable device combining advanced AI, ML protocols, and Ayurvedic diagnostics. By analyzing Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas through a user's fingerprint signals, the device customizes dietary and exercise plans. Extending its reach, PSA's methods are gaining traction in Europe, offering potential cost-saving solutions in healthcare.
