Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, underscored the significant potential for collaboration between India and Germany at the 18th Asia Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) in New Delhi. The Minister highlighted opportunities in combining Germany's precision engineering with India's infrastructure prowess.

Elaborating on the synergies, Goyal highlighted sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, startups, and green tech as areas where joint efforts could catalyze significant advancements. He confirmed India's robust macroeconomic health and readiness to seize emerging opportunities.

In addressing climate change, Goyal reiterated India's commitment to the COP21 goals, emphasizing collaboration with both developing and developed nations for sustainable solutions. India ranks 7th on the Climate Change Performance Index, ensuring it surpasses international climate targets.

Goyal expressed appreciation to the Asia Pacific Committee of German Business and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce for hosting the event, which facilitates identifying trends, sharing practices, and crafting policies for industrial growth.

Looking towards 2030, Goyal noted that Asia's emerging middle class offers expansive business opportunities. He expressed optimism about the India-Germany strategic partnership and its capacity to deliver tangible growth for both economies. He concluded with a message of cultural appreciation and inspiration for future innovations.
