Addressing the 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2024, Scholz highlighted India's significance to Germany, noting increased skilled migration and educational exchanges. He pointed out Germany's digitization efforts in the visa process to attract Indian talent.
During his official visit, Scholz underscored the need for deeper bilateral cooperation in critical sectors such as defense, while advocating diversification in strategic materials to reduce over-reliance on single nations, referencing China's status in global trade.
