Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar resumed operations at 8 am today after normal weather conditions returned.

The airport had halted operations from 5 pm on October 24 as Cyclone Dana made landfall between Dhamra and Bhitarkanika, affecting the region from midnight until early morning.

Airport Director Prasanna Pradhan explained that the initial plan was to resume at 9 am on Friday, but favorable weather allowed operations to restart an hour earlier.
