Petronet LNG Posts 4% Rise in Q2 Profits on Increased Dahej Terminal Utilization

Petronet LNG Ltd, India's leading importer of liquefied natural gas, announced a 4% increase in its second-quarter profit, driven by enhanced capacity utilization at its main Dahej import terminal in Gujarat.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 848 crore for the July-September period of the 2024-25 fiscal year, a rise from Rs 818 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, though below the record Rs 1,142 crore in the preceding quarter.
CEO and Managing Director A K Singh stated that the Dahej terminal's throughput this quarter grew by 7% compared to the previous year. The board has approved an interim dividend of Rs 7 per share, owing to strong financial results.
