Kuwait Paves New Future: Historic Road Maintenance Deals Inked

In a landmark move, Kuwait has signed road maintenance agreements worth 400 million Kuwaiti dinars, or approximately $1.31 billion, with both local and international firms. The Public Works Ministry announced these pivotal deals on Wednesday.
This initiative marks the first of its kind for the country, encompassing contracts covering the entire nation. Notably, the agreements include collaborations with Turkish business Limak and a Qatari firm, alongside several companies from Kuwait.
Khaled Al-Osaimi, the director general of the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport, highlighted the significance of these contracts in enhancing Kuwait's infrastructure.
