Lufthansa Suspends Tehran and Beirut Flights
Lufthansa has announced an extension of its flight suspension to Tehran and Beirut into early 2025 due to operational challenges. Flights to Tehran will be paused until January 31, 2025, and those to Beirut until February 28, 2025. The suspension also impacts SWISS, part of the Lufthansa Group.
The German airline giant, Lufthansa, has further extended the suspension of its flights to Tehran and Beirut, citing operational concerns.
Regarding Tehran, services will remain halted until January 31, 2025. For Beirut, flights are suspended until February 28, 2025. This decision affects subsidiaries including SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings.
In a related move, SWISS announced the cancellation of flights to Beirut until January 18, 2025, aiming to provide better planning stability for their passengers and crew.
