The Nepal Army swiftly responded to a bomb threat on a Vistara flight traveling from Delhi to Kathmandu, which later proved to be a hoax. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, the aircraft was promptly evacuated.
A total of 157 passengers were safely guided off the plane by security personnel. A detailed investigation followed, with searches of both the aircraft and passenger luggage conducted by a specialized military team.
The flight, arriving at Kathmandu at 4:30 pm, was meticulously examined, but authorities found no explosive materials on board, confirmed Brigadier General Gaurav Kumar KC of the Nepal Army.
