Ola Electric Mobility has successfully addressed 99.1% of the 10,644 complaints it received from the Central Consumer Protection Authority, according to a regulatory filing. This achievement demonstrates the company's effective consumer complaint redressal system.
The firm provided the necessary explanations in response to a show cause notice issued by the CCPA for alleged consumer rights violations, misleading advertisements, and unfair trade practices.
The notice followed an online spat between Ola's founder Bhavish Agarwal and comedian Kunal Kamra, with the latter bringing attention to after-sales issues faced by consumers. Ola Electric's response within the stipulated 15 days underscores its commitment to consumer satisfaction.
