A Vistara flight bound for Frankfurt was forced to return to Delhi after being denied access to Afghanistan's airspace due to a bomb threat, according to informed sources.

The Boeing 787 aircraft, carrying more than 240 passengers, took off from Delhi and was scheduled to fly to Frankfurt, Germany. However, it was halted after Afghanistan authorities refused permission to enter their airspace, reacting to a non-specific bomb threat.

Vistara reported receiving security threats for six flights, including this one. Despite circling in Pakistan's airspace and briefly entering Afghanistan's, the flight safely returned to Delhi. This incident is part of a spate of over 100 bomb threats targeting flights this week, which have subsequently been dismissed as hoaxes.
