In a significant development for the Vindhya region, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hailed the inauguration of Rewa airport's terminal as a Diwali gift from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking a pivotal moment for the area's growth.

During a ceremony in Varanasi, PM Modi inaugurated numerous projects exceeding Rs 6,000 crore in value, including new terminal buildings in MP's Rewa, Chhattisgarh's Darima, and UP's Sarsawa, collectively worth over Rs 220 crore.

The new Rewa airport terminal, part of the UDAN initiative, promises affordable air travel for residents, starting from Rs 999 to Bhopal. The government aims to construct more airstrips and airports across Madhya Pradesh, thus enhancing connectivity and comprehensive regional development.
