The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF), in alliance with Kids Wonder, organized a charity event on October 11 at the Old Tenery Public School in Balangir district, India. The initiative, spearheaded by Ashish Kumar Agrawal, aimed to support roughly 30 children by providing them with essential supplies and engaging activities, fostering community care and warmth.

The event commenced at 1:00 p.m. as volunteers arrived bearing donated items such as slippers, shoes, jump ropes, toys, books, and snacks. These contributions significantly uplifted the children's spirits, as noted by Hemalata Pattnaik, the school's principal, who expressed gratitude for the enhanced lives these gifts provided. She emphasized the importance of continued support for the children's growth.

In addition to distributing supplies, the event featured a drawing session encouraging creativity, alongside a vital safety education talk on 'Good Touch and Bad Touch.' This session aimed at empowering children with self-protection skills. Volunteers also facilitated games, further enriching the children's experience and reinforcing community bonds.

Ashish Kumar Agrawal lauded the success of the initiative, emphasizing the joy and excitement reflected in the children's smiles. He expressed his eagerness to continue collaborating with IYDF to bolster community support, advocating for more programs dedicated to children's development.

This event underscored IYDF's dedication to community engagement, paving the way for future efforts to provide resources, care, and hope to more children in need. Their collaboration with local bodies aims to ensure sustainable growth and opportunities for young minds.
