Residents in Himachal Pradesh will soon have online access to their marriage, birth, and death certificates, as announced by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday.

During a review meeting of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, the Chief Minister highlighted the availability of certificates digitally and underscored the state's rural employment achievements, which surpassed the targets set under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.

The Chief Minister revealed that 43,161 self-help groups were formed under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, with financial assistance provided. More initiatives include the launch of an online platform for SHGs to enhance their market reach, positioning 'Himera' products as premium brands for wider exposure.
