Delhi Metro Extends Hours for India-Bangladesh T20 Match Convenience
To accommodate spectators of the India-Bangladesh T20 match, DMRC is extending last train departures by an hour on Wednesday. Additionally, traffic diversions around the stadium are expected. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is making special arrangements for the India-Bangladesh T20 match by extending its last train timings across all lines by an hour. This measure is designed to cater to the convenience of spectators attending the match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
According to DMRC officials, changes include the last train departing Samaypur Badli at 12:10 am, from Millennium City Centre Gurugram at 11:40 pm, and from Kashmere Gate on the Violet Line at midnight. From Noida City Centre, the final Blue Line train will depart at 11:45 pm, while Rithala and Shaheed Sthal will have departures at 12:10 am and midnight respectively.
In light of these changes, Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for potential diversions on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg. Additionally, shuttle facilities and designated parking areas support attendees utilizing the metro, allowing easier access to the stadium for the event.
