Tata Motors Faces Challenges with Declining Global Wholesales
Tata Motors reported an 11% decline in group wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, at 3,04,189 units for Q2 of the current fiscal year. Passenger vehicle sales dropped by 6%, while Jaguar Land Rover sales decreased by 10%. Commercial vehicle sales also fell by 19% compared to last year.

Tata Motors announced a significant drop in their global wholesales for the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. The company reported an 11% decline compared to the same period last year, bringing the total to 3,04,189 units, inclusive of Jaguar Land Rover sales.
Specifically, Tata Motors' passenger vehicles saw a 6% decrease, settling at 1,30,753 units for Q2 FY25. Jaguar Land Rover's figures also took a hit, with sales falling by 10% to 87,303 units.
The breakdown reveals Jaguar's sales stood at 5,961 vehicles, while Land Rover moved 81,342 units. Additionally, commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range experienced a 19% drop, totaling 86,133 units sold during the quarter.
