Train services were disrupted on Delhi Metro's Blue Line for more than 30 minutes on Wednesday after a drone was spotted lying on the tracks between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West metro stations, officials confirmed.

According to the officials, the disruption in train services lasted from 2:50 pm to 3:29 pm, during which time the drone was removed from the tracks.

Train services were unavailable between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West during this period. Single-line services operated between Uttam Nagar East and Janakpuri West, and between Uttam Nagar West and Dwarka. However, normal services resumed at 3:29 pm after security clearance was granted.
