Odisha Gears Up for Global Business Summit with Diplomatic Engagement
The Odisha government will host a meeting of ambassadors from various countries in New Delhi to showcase its vibrant industrial ecosystem. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will lead discussions, inviting global stakeholders to the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, aimed at fostering international partnerships and investment.
In the lead-up to Odisha's flagship business summit, the state government is preparing to host a meeting with ambassadors from various countries in New Delhi on Thursday, officials revealed.
The event will showcase Odisha's vibrant industrial ecosystem and spotlight emerging investment opportunities to a global audience. Attendees will include ambassadors, high commissioners, consul generals, trade commissioners, and senior diplomats from around the world.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with a high-level delegation, will chair the discussions, underscoring Odisha's role in India's industrial resurgence. The meeting aims to forge stronger international partnerships and highlight the state's industrial potential, enabling policies, business-friendly environment, and ongoing initiatives.
Industries Secretary Hemant Sharma stated that the chief minister will personally invite global stakeholders to the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, scheduled for January 28-29 in Bhubaneswar. The Ambassadors' meet will also feature G2B meetings and sessions targeting industries from the Delhi NCR region, highlighting sectors like IT & ITeS, textiles, food processing, chemicals, petrochemicals, renewable energy, and electronics manufacturing.
The Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 aims to be the state's largest-ever industrial gathering, attracting leaders, experts, policymakers, and diplomats globally. Chief Minister Majhi has emphasized Odisha's commitment to industrial growth through visionary policies, improved infrastructure, and a business-friendly environment. Initiatives include developing MSME parks in each district, establishing an FDI Park, multimodal logistics parks, and new industrial corridors.
