IndiaAI Fellowship: An Opportunity for AI Enthusiasts

IndiaAI invites B.Tech and M.Tech students for the IndiaAI Fellowship to support AI research projects. The fellowship offers funding for project duration and PhD students from top NIRF institutes can apply. Deadlines for applications and institute approvals are set for September 30, 2024.

IndiaAI - Independent Business Division (IBD) is calling for nominations from B.Tech and M.Tech students for the IndiaAI Fellowship. The Ministry of Electronics and IT has announced that IndiaAI is reaching out to the top 50 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) research institutes for their participation in this fellowship program, particularly targeting new PhD students pursuing research in Artificial Intelligence.

IndiaAI encourages both B.Tech and M.Tech students working on AI-related projects to apply for the IndiaAI Fellowship. The fellowship, aimed at supplementing any existing financial aid, will cover the project duration, offering one year of funding for B.Tech students and two years for M.Tech students. The application deadline is September 30, 2024, and nominations must be submitted via the official form available at: IndiaAI Fellowship Nomination Form.

Further, IndiaAI is extending fellowship opportunities for full-time PhD scholars specializing in Artificial Intelligence at the top 50 NIRF-ranked research institutes. These institutes are invited to confirm their participation by agreeing to admit new PhD students under the IndiaAI Fellowship. It's important to note that PhD scholars under this fellowship should not be receiving any other scholarships or salaries.

Institutes are urged to submit their approval on official letterhead, signed by the head of the institute, to Smt. Kavita Bhatia, Sci 'G' & GC (AI & ET), via email at kbhatia@meity.gov.in by September 30, 2024. IndiaAI will select candidates based on eligibility, relevance of research proposals, student profiles, and the availability of fellowships nationwide.
