Heavy rains on Friday disrupted flight schedules at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, causing a diversion of one flight and potentially delaying others. Both IndiGo and SpiceJet issued notices on X, warning passengers to monitor their flight statuses.

IndiGo's announcement emphasized that flight schedules may be affected due to the heavy downpour in Delhi. The airline also advised passengers to plan ahead, as roads leading to the airport might be waterlogged.

SpiceJet echoed this sentiment, noting that all departures and arrivals, along with their corresponding flights, might face delays. The national capital's busiest airport typically handles around 1,300 flight movements daily.
