Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the much-anticipated metro rail extension from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar on September 16, marking a significant boost to connectivity between these two key cities.
During his two-day visit to Gujarat, starting on September 15, Modi will officially open the second phase of the Ahmedabad metro extension, confirmed a release from the Gujarat government.
This major infrastructure project spans 21 kilometers, initially adding eight new metro stations and furthering the region's development by linking important locales such as GIFT City, educational institutions, and commercial hubs.
