Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the 2nd Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Civil Aviation on Thursday, taking place at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Wednesday, Modi will address the assembly.
The Prime Minister will also announce the adoption of the 'Delhi Declaration' by all member states. This declaration provides a visionary roadmap designed to elevate the aviation sector in the Asia-Pacific region to new heights.
Organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the conference is a significant step towards enhancing safety, security, and sustainability in civil aviation. It also highlights the strong spirit of cooperation among the nations involved. Key topics at the conference will include infrastructure development, sustainability, and workforce development, with a focus on fostering public-private sector collaboration.
