Government Receives Rs 75,000 Crore Investment Proposals Under Auto PLI Scheme
The government has received around Rs 75,000 crore in investment proposals under the auto PLI scheme, with Rs 18,000 crore already invested. The government has secured investment proposals worth approximately Rs 75,000 crore under the auto PLI scheme, announced Union Heavy Industries Minister H D Kumaraswamy during the 64th Annual SIAM convention on Tuesday.
So far, Rs 18,000 crore has already been invested, facilitating the creation of 30,000 jobs across the country, according to the minister.
The minister added that the government is focusing on building electric vehicle charging infrastructure and integrating it with renewable energy sources to maximize environmental benefits. Kumaraswamy assured continuous government efforts to create a more industry-friendly business ecosystem.
