EVFY Pioneers Revolution in India's EV Charging Infrastructure

On World EV Day, EVFY debuted its first EV charging station in Gurgaon, initiating a plan to install 100 stations across the region. Aiming to revolutionize India's EV sector, it also plans expansions with ultra-fast chargers and collaborations with key industry players.

On World EV Day, EVFY, an emerging start-up in electric automotive solutions, announced its entry into the EV charging infrastructure sector with its first charging station in Sector 73, Gurgaon. This initiative marks a significant milestone in its mission to transform the EV sector in India.

The new fast-charging station is the first of 100 installations planned across the region, underscoring a commitment to a sustainable future. With power outputs ranging from 7.4 kW to 120 kW, the station accommodates a variety of EV models, including two, three, and four-wheelers. Located at The One, Sales Gallery on the Southern Peripheral Road, the station features dual gun capabilities and a digital display with RFID for security.

India's public EV charging infrastructure has shown significant growth, expanding from 1,800 stations in February 2022 to 16,347 by March 2024, meeting the rising demand. Founder Shikhar Yadav stated, "EVFY aims to create an integrated ecosystem with innovative solutions for a sustainable future." The company plans further expansion into Dwarka Expressway, the Airport area, and New Gurgaon, with ultra-fast and hyper-fast chargers. Co-Founder Hritik Sharma emphasized their goal of simplifying EV ownership and charging. An app to simplify access to EV chargers is also in the pipeline.
