Vietnam Temporarily Shuts Down Airports Due to Typhoon Yagi
Vietnam's civil aviation authority (CAAV) has announced the temporary closure of Hanoi's Noi Bai airport along with three other northern airports due to Typhoon Yagi. The closures will occur from Saturday, affecting airports in Quang Ninh, Haiphong, and Thanh Hoa to mitigate the storm's impact.

Vietnam's civil aviation authority (CAAV) announced the temporary shutdown of Hanoi's Noi Bai airport and three other airports in the north due to Typhoon Yagi, which is expected to hit Vietnam late Friday.
The CAAV stated Noi Bai airport will be closed from 1000 to 1900 (0300 to 1200 GMT) on Saturday. Airports in Quang Ninh and Haiphong will shut from early Saturday until 1600 the same day. Thanh Hoa's airport will suspend operations from midday until late Saturday.
The precautionary measure aims to ensure the safety of passengers and staff as the powerful typhoon approaches Vietnam.
