Bajaj Auto Sees 16% Surge in August Vehicle Wholesales
Bajaj Auto reported a 16% year-on-year growth in vehicle wholesales for August, totaling 3,97,804 units. Domestic sales rose 24% to 2,53,827 units, while exports increased by 5%, reaching 1,43,977 units. The Pune-based automaker had sold 3,41,648 vehicles in the same month last year.

Bajaj Auto on Monday reported a 16 per cent year-on-year growth in its total vehicle wholesales for August, reaching 3,97,804 units. This marks a significant leap from the 3,41,648 vehicles sold in August 2023, according to a company statement.
Total domestic sales, which include commercial vehicles, soared by 24 per cent to 2,53,827 units in the previous month, compared to 2,05,100 units in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, total exports grew by 5 per cent during the reviewed month, with 1,43,977 vehicles shipped to overseas markets, up from 1,36,548 units in August 2023, the statement added.
