Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met with Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday, pitching a helicopter service between Gangtok and Guwahati. The proposed service aims to improve accessibility and regional growth for both states.
During their meeting in Dispur, Sarma shared details about specialized cancer treatment hospitals in Assam, offering support to Sikkim patients. This crucial healthcare cooperation underscores the strong connection between the two states and aims to ease health burdens.
Tamang invited Sarma to visit Sikkim, an invitation graciously accepted. Both leaders discussed growth and mutual interests, further strengthening regional ties. Tamang also visited the Kamakhya temple, offering prayers for Sikkim's welfare.
