Rakesh Gangwal’s Trust Offloads Major IndiGo Stake for Rs 9,549 Crore

Rakesh Gangwal's family trust sold a 5.24% stake in InterGlobe Aviation for Rs 9,549 crore through open market transactions. The Chinkerpoo Family Trust offloaded over 2.02 crore shares of IndiGo in three tranches, with prices per share ranging from Rs 4,714.95 to Rs 4,715.89.

In a significant transaction, InterGlobe Aviation promoter Rakesh Gangwal's family trust divested a 5.24 per cent stake in the airline, IndiGo, for Rs 9,549 crore via open market deals.

According to bulk deal data on BSE, the Chinkerpoo Family Trust sold more than 2.02 crore shares in three separate tranches.

The price per share fluctuated between Rs 4,714.95 and Rs 4,715.89, culminating in a total transaction value of Rs 9,548.95 crore.
