The retail inflation rate for farm and rural workers in India showed signs of easing in July, dropping to 6.17% and 6.20%, respectively.

This decline is notable when compared to June's rates, which stood at 7.02% for farm workers and 7.04% for rural workers.

According to a labour ministry statement, the All-India Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers (CPI-AL) and for rural labourers (CPI-RL) both increased by 10 points in July, reaching 1,290 and 1,302, respectively.
