Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday praised the Union Cabinet's recent decisions, which include the development of 12 industrial nodes under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP). The initiative, he said, will significantly boost infrastructure, drive growth, and create numerous employment opportunities. "The Cabinet has taken a very important decision of building 12 Industrial nodes/cities under National Industrial Corridor Development Programme. Apart from the significant infrastructure boost, it will enhance growth and create employment for many people," PM Modi posted on X.

The Prime Minister also highlighted cabinet-approved railway projects aimed at benefiting states such as Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh. "The benefits include seamless transportation of goods and easier travel for passengers," he noted.

Modi further lauded cabinet decisions on hydropower projects, the rollout of FM radio, and the expansion of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund. Financial assistance for hydropower initiatives will promote sustainability and energy security in the Northeast, fostering local economies and job creation. Additionally, FM radio expansion to 234 cities and towns will encourage creativity and cultural diversity. Agricultural infrastructure expansion will support farmer incomes and sustainability.
