India and Singapore Bolster Ties: Ministers Convene for Strategic Roundtable

Senior ministers from India and Singapore engaged in a productive round of discussions during the second multi-ministerial roundtable. Both sides explored how to enhance bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including digital, skill development, sustainability, healthcare, connectivity, and advanced manufacturing.
The Indian delegation, led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, included External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. They were joined by their Singaporean counterparts to review progress from the inaugural roundtable in New Delhi.
Key topics included digitalisation, green initiatives, and skill development. The discussions took place ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's anticipated visit to Singapore, emphasizing the strengthening of the India-Singapore strategic partnership.
