PNN Puri (Odisha) [India], August 20: The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) teamed up with Parikrama Travels to host a significant donation event at Umasankar Vidyalaya in Odisha, aimed at uplifting underprivileged children. Spearheaded by Sairam Jena, the event successfully provided essential resources and brought immense joy to the local children. The volunteers' enthusiastic participation was instrumental in the event's success.

The event was not solely about distributing essential learning and recreational materials. It provided 300 digital ballpoint pens, 300 cake packages, 30 bottles of cold drinks with paper cups, sports equipment, and art supplies. It also served as a platform for 48 students to display their talents through various competitions, including dance, singing, high jump, long jump, and debate. The 20 winners received special prizes, lighting up the campus with their smiles.

The dedication of the volunteers played a crucial role in the event's success. Key figures including Sai Krishna Jena and Amit Kumar Mallik, along with Umasankar Vidyalaya's head Umesh Chandra Barik, and volunteers like Prakash Chandra Muduli and Dhurendra Jena, provided both material support and emotional care to the children.

Sairam Jena reflected on the event: "Being on-site and engaged in the entire process was a wonderful experience. We were moved emotionally, and this is one of my happiest days. The students were overjoyed with their pens, cakes, and drinks, their faces full of smiles. Thank you for this opportunity." His sentiments highlighted a deep fondness for the children and optimism for their future.

The event underscored IYDF's ongoing commitment to supporting the education and well-being of underprivileged children globally. Through partnerships with compassionate businesses like Parikrama Travels, IYDF continues to spread warmth and hope, assisting children in moving towards a brighter future with material and emotional support.
