India has entered into memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with ten countries to collaborate on digital public infrastructure. Minister of State for Electronic and Information Technology, Jitin Prasada, disclosed this information to Rajya Sabha in a written reply on Friday. The countries include Armenia, Sierra Leone, Suriname, Antigua and Barbuda, Papua New Guinea, Trinidad and Tobago, Tanzania, Kenya, Cuba, and Colombia.

India's Digital Public Infrastructures (DPI) are designed to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and inclusivity across various sectors. Aadhaar, the world's largest digital identity program, has generated over 138.04 crore unique IDs. Unified Payment Interface (UPI), another crucial platform, saw over 1,388 crore transactions in June 2024, significantly boosting financial inclusion.

DigiLocker, a digital document verification platform, has served over 30 crore users and holds 675 crore issued documents. India's push for global collaboration is further driven by initiatives like India Stack Global and the Global DPI Repository, launched during its G20 Presidency in 2023.
