MSRTC Suspends Staff for Dangerous Flooded Bridge Crossing

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) suspended a bus driver and conductor on Wednesday after they allegedly drove through floodwaters on Bhairav Bridge in Raigad district, according to an official spokesperson.

The incident, which occurred on the Pali-Ghodgaon route, was reported by passengers who feared for their safety due to the strong current.

Following an investigation, driver Uday Bansode and conductor Sonali Patil were suspended for their actions, the spokesperson confirmed.
