Multinational beverages giant The Coca-Cola Company announced on Tuesday a 2 per cent increase in unit case volume for the second quarter of 2024, largely fueled by growth in India, Brazil, and the Philippines.
The company revealed its innovative ultra-lightweight bottle with an extended shelf life has significantly contributed to increased transactions in India's commercial beverage outlets. This packaging innovation has facilitated over 400 million transactions in the first half of the year.
Overall, net revenues grew 3 per cent to USD 12.4 billion in Q2 2024. Chairman and CEO James Quincey expressed optimism about the results, citing a robust topline and operational growth despite a challenging market environment.
