The BJP on Tuesday celebrated the Union Budget as 'outstanding,' stating it would propel the country's economic transformation and help actualize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of a developed India.

Following the budget's presentation by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailed it as unique and outline the NDA government's nine key priorities for holistic development, effectively enhancing India's growth trajectory.

'This Budget will contribute significantly to making India a five trillion dollar economy by 2027,' Singh posted on X, adding congratulations to Finance Minister Sitharaman for presenting an 'excellent and outstanding full-year Budget for FY 2024-25,' steering towards a prosperous, self-reliant 'Viksit Bharat.'

Inspired by PM Modi's vision of inclusive, rapid development, Singh noted numerous policies supporting farmers, youth, women, and other vulnerable groups, along with sectors like infrastructure, agriculture, banking, energy, R&D, MSMEs, and defence receiving special attention.

The budget is poised to spur demand, create new opportunities for youth, and elevate India's economy globally, Singh said, expressing gratitude to the PM and FM for their monumental push towards economic and social development.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju termed the budget 'growth-oriented' and beneficial for all, particularly youngsters and women, while criticizing opposition parties for their negative stance.

'This budget represents the beginning of realizing the PM's Viksit Bharat dream,' Rijiju told reporters, asserting that the opposition's criticism affirmed the budget's excellence.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia praised the budget as 'farsighted,' designed with every sector in mind, including agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, irrigation, education, and health, congratulating the FM for steering India towards progress under PM Modi's leadership.
