Panasonic Avionics Launches New Service Center in Pune to Boost Global Aviation

In a significant development for the Indian aviation sector, Panasonic Avionics Corporation has opened a cutting-edge software design and development facility in Pune, India. The new center aims to enhance in-flight engagement and connectivity (IFEC) services for a range of clients, including Air India, Vistara, and international airlines operating in Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
"Our Pune facility will support a majority of our global clients, providing top-notch services for airlines in these regions," said CEO Ken Sain of Panasonic Avionics, in an interview with ANI. The company's IFEC services are already implemented widely, with over 200 leading airlines and 15,000 aircraft equipped with Panasonic's advanced in-flight solutions.
The inauguration ceremony on Wednesday saw the presence of Murlidhar Mohol, India's Minister of State for Aviation, along with Panasonic Avionics' top executives, including CEO Ken Sain and CTO Satyen Yadav. Minister Mohol praised the initiative, stating it will bolster India's aviation infrastructure and create new job opportunities. CEO Ken Sain expressed eagerness about the new facility, emphasizing its role in driving innovation and customer satisfaction. CTO Satyen Yadav highlighted the importance of the new Sonic Eion Service Centre in maintaining high standards of service excellence and technological advancement. The establishment of this center marks a significant milestone for Panasonic Avionics, reinforcing their commitment to India's growing aviation industry.
