Alliance Forms to Boost India's Startup Ecosystem

The Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF) and the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) have entered into a two-year agreement aimed at nurturing the Indian startup and innovation ecosystem.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the PHD House in New Delhi, signalling a collaborative effort to stimulate independent thinking and cultivate groundbreaking ideas across various sectors in India's economy.
ADIF's associate director, Prateek Jain, described the alliance as a critical step toward democratizing India's digital entrepreneurship landscape. 'This MoU transcends traditional support mechanisms by focusing on developing a holistic ecosystem that nurtures innovation throughout a startup's journey,' said Jain. He added that by leveraging PHDCCI's extensive industry network and ADIF's digital expertise, the initiative aims to lay the foundation for unprecedented growth and innovation in India's startup domain.
The collaboration will feature workshops, training sessions, and seminars designed to enhance entrepreneurial skills, provide networking opportunities, and facilitate knowledge transfer from industry experts to budding entrepreneurs.
Ranjeet Mehta, executive director at PHDCCI, emphasized that the goal is not merely to increase the quantity of startups but to significantly elevate their quality and success rates. 'This partnership aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering innovation-led growth and positioning India as a global leader in entrepreneurship,' said Mehta.
