The Rajasthan Public Works Department, led by Minister Diya Kumari, has earmarked a significant Rs 9,000 crore in the state budget 2024-25 for the construction and renovation of roads.
Addressing the Assembly, Kumari emphasized the adherence to all necessary norms as per the rules for road work. The policy framework guiding these renovations is the Rajasthan State Road Development Policy 2013.
In a written response to MLA Rohit Bohra, Kumari detailed that all renovation activities conform to this policy, ensuring transparency and systematic development. She also tabled a copy of the policy for reference.
